Every set of nails comes with its own challenges. In Mastering Difficult Nails & Troubleshooting, you’ll learn how to confidently assess and work with problematic nail shapes and common service issues.
We’ll cover practical techniques for working with ski-jump, hook, wide, flat, and crooked nails, as well as troubleshooting lifting and product retention issues. You’ll learn how to adjust your forms, modify your application techniques, and make corrections during both new sets and fills.
This class is designed to help you understand why certain problems occur and, more importantly, what you can do to correct them. We’ll explore how to adjust your prep, product placement, structure, and filing techniques based on the individual nail rather than trying to use a one-size-fits-all approach.
Bring Your Problem Nail!
Students are encouraged to bring a problematic nail they struggle with and offer it as a demo for the class. This is a great opportunity to have the nail assessed and learn practical correction techniques that you can apply to similar challenges in your own salon.
